KOICA in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) facilitated a Capacity Building Workshop on Dual Training at Akado Vocational Training Center. The workshop brought together 30 industry players, trainers, and institutional managers to strengthen collaboration between training institutions and industries in the implementation of the Dual Training System. The engagement focused on: Strengthening industry–institution partnerships Enhancing workplace-based training opportunities for trainees Aligning training programs with industry skill demands Improving the implementation of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) The presence of 30 industry stakeholders demonstrated strong commitment from the private sector to support skills development, trainee attachment, and employment opportunities for graduates. Akado Vocational Training Center appreciates the continued partnership with KOICA and Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Cooperation (GIZ) in promoting quality TVET and dual training systems.
